Thank you for viewing this listing! Here is what’s up for sale. Vintage US Army Special Forces BLACK DYED 1970 Jungle Jacket Vietnam Era Ripstop. Jacket is an original 1970 government contract Vietnam War era produced Item. These uniforms were used from the 1960s to 1980s, and patches and black dye could be from the post-Vietnam War era. Name and branch tape were removed at some point, but all other insignia still present (Parachutist’s Badge and Special Forces patch w/ “AIRBORNE” arc/tab). It appears the black dye was applied using a process to intentionally create a camouflage pattern on the fabric the last picture above shows this jacket compared to an unmodified jungle jacket with similar wear- THE 82nd Airborne jacket is NOT included and shown only for comparison purposes!!!
